Set the clocks for however long you want the game to last. Then press your button to start the countdown before flipping over all of the sand timers.
Using one hand, you have to keep the sand flowing by constantly flipping and moving the timers into an empty space.
This is complicated by the fact that the timers contain different amounts of sand.
Stay focussed and move quickly, because the moment a sand timer runs out, your opponent gets to hit their button to stop your clock, start theirs and begin flipping.
Whoever runs out their clock first, wins
